February was a very busy month at UniSat. Between the Winter Olympic Games and award shows, UniSat provided complete D1 serial digital (4:2:2) uplink for ESPN at the 2002 WGA Accenture Match Play Championship at La Costa Spa and Resort in Carlsbad, CA.  UniSat's services included dual path digital KU satellite transmission of the network's SportsCenter show.  UniSat also provided for a backhaul serial digital downlink, network return, component Betacam SP playout and transmission of NHK's high definition ENG material. The week long event featured some of golf's best, including Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson.  Winning his first PGA tour title, Kevin Sutherland defeated Scott McCarron to take the $1 million purse.
