UniSat had the honor of working with two of the leading
sports broadcast networks at Super Bowl XXXVII in San Diego, CA.
Fox Sports Net utilized UniSat’s TES 2 Digital Satellite Production Unit for
complete services for the network’s
Best Damn Sports Show
Period.
Production for the weeklong series of shows was
done from the San Diego Broadway Pier. Equipment complement included: 5 Ikegami
HL59W Triax camera systems, 4 Sony A500 Digital Betacam Recorders, Jib camera
system, complete engineering support for FOX Sports compound.
UniSat’s KU TES
1 uplink truck supplied Analog and Digital (4:2:2) transmission for ESPN’s
Sports Center, NFL Sunday Pre Show and NFL Tonight
shows carried live from The
Embarcadero. UniSat also worked with Starwest Satellite to supply a 4.5 meter
C/KU-Band earth station on site for broadcast quality down linking for
integration into ESPN's programming. |
