January 14-15, 2002 Olympic Torch Run, San Diego-Los Angeles, CA
As the Olympic torch made its way across the county, UniSat was on hand to provide services to North American Communications Inc. for KSL- TV (Utah’s official station for 2002 Olympic winter games) in their coverage of the torch run through Southern California. UniSat’s TES 1 was utilized for live shots from both San Diego and L.A. Highlights of the event included stops at Balboa Park and Universal City Walk, where Arnold Schwarzenegger was on hand to pass the torch along.
